Towards this goal, we ground our work on Hugging Face values:

• Being open, collaborative, transparent, and candid
• Enabling rigor, responsibility, and accountability
• Prioritizing approachability and lowering barriers to entry
• Providing resources for scientific rigor, auditability, and minimizing societal harms

Who we are

The "Ethics & Society" group is a coalition of people throughout Hugging Face who spend time working on projects directly relevant to human values.

Our work is distributed across Hugging Face Datasets, apps/demos, Models, infrastructure, and internal processes.
