Advertising is going to FUCK the next generation over hardcore in ways we can't possibly hope to imagine as increasingly complicated models are trained more and more on how to really push the metrics advertising was trying to use in new horrifying directions so McDonalds can make sure they still have a customer base in 20 years. I'm terrified of the number of "custom models" that will be come up with and served as "educational tools". I wonder if that's why "AI" (LLMs in this scenario, because what the actual fuck is intelligence anyways? Reducing entropy with minimal resources? Problem solving? Adaptability? Are LLMs actually imlementing any of these or just creating tokens in a way that makes it look like they are because of the level of complexity of the network, which, duh. ,given the size of the datasets they're training on. Is intelligence a useful concept even? Is it a useful thing to talk about things in terms of?
